I am Sarah; I am in my forties and am truly enjoying the empty nester’s travel lifestyle. In 2020 I became an empty nester when my children had both gone off to college.
I have been truly embracing the travel lifestyle. I have taken and continue to take advantage of every day of vacation and any other holidays to travel.
I love my children dearly, but when you travel with family, travel plans are very different. I am able to travel much more because for one it is much easier to fund a vacation when paying travel costs for less people. A second reason there is no one to disagree with in taste of travel style. My kids have different ideas of what constitutes a great vacation. I love to hike and explore the outdoors. We love the beach, the lake, and the river; you name it water wise and I am in. I are very efficient; it seems as though I have more than 24 hours in my day. i can operate at a very fast pace if I need to; no wasting time for me; but I have no problem relaxing as well. Everything has its perfect time.
Land tours, cruises, road trips, or just local explorations are all on my list of things to do. I can be happy going to local eateries or wineries when I am short on time or to a local hike if all I have free is one day. On weekends, I tend to do road trips or short flights. I typically get 5 weeks off a year, so I take advantage of each of those with longer trips; cruises, land tours, or longer road trips.
Come kick back, grab a glass of wine, while I share how to truly embrace the empty nester travel lifestyle. I want you to experience this EXCITING TIME!
